Join our sewing lesson in the Craft Café and create your own T-shirt using sustainable organic fabrics from our store. During this session, you will work with the Picot T-shirt or Stem T-shirt patterns from the De Steek collection while learning essential techniques for sewing stretchy fabrics. This lesson introduces you to using the serger for creating seams and finishing techniques on the sewing machine. You will learn how to cut stretchy fabrics, work with sewing patterns, create basic seams, finish hems, and complete the neckline, with or without a collar.
The lesson is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some sewing experience who wish to refresh their skills. Classes are conducted in Dutch and English and accommodate sizes XS to XXL. From January, all Sewing Café workshops, courses, and lessons will be held at our Amsterdam West location, offering a creative and inspiring space to learn.
