Join a one-day workshop in our Sewing Café and create a beautiful summer dress from our new zero-waste collection. The dress is designed to minimize fabric waste, making it both sustainable and stylish. Using light and airy Tencel fabric, you can choose from a variety of colors and prints to create a flowy dress perfect for warm days and evenings. This workshop provides hands-on experience working with both the sewing machine and serger, and is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some sewing experience.
During the workshop, you will learn essential skills such as zero-waste pattern cutting, creating basic seams with non-stretchy fabrics, making straps, and finishing hems. Instruction is provided in both Dutch and English, making the class accessible to all participants. Sizes are one-size, designed to fit a range of body types comfortably. By the end of the session, you will leave with a finished summer dress and practical sewing skills to continue creating your own garments at home.

Ashley

The coziest place to learn new skills where you are encouraged to repair or create and not buy new. The people working there are so helpful as well and I know ZERO about sewing and they have a ton of patience and tips.
Gerard

I did the tote bag course and it was super nice! First time sewing and the people were amazing and very helpful!
Elisabetta

lovely experience! in just three hours I was able to learn the basics of sewing and complete my very first project. teachers were super nice and knowledgeable.
Kara

I had the most amazing time learning to sew my first tote bag with Ana. The guidance is clear and easy to follow. I had never touched a sewing machine before but after a crash course from Ana, I felt more confident to operate the machine independently. Will surely be back for a second project.
Jiri

Took my first sewing class ever yesterday and cannot be happier for choosing I am Nold. After first lesson I, as absolute beginner, managed to put together nice tote back and learn a lot. Guidance provided by Natalie was brilliant and she really helped me make a progress. She was very helpful. Definitely made me motivated to take more classes and progress with my sewing. Also got some recommendation on further progress which is always nice. Like the vibe of the place, there is always nice cup of tea / coffee so looking forward to go back. If you ever wanted to learn how to saw, this is the place.
