Sewing Lesson: Skirt (Amsterdam West)

Join a four-hour sewing lesson in our Sewing Café and create your own skirt using materials from our store. You can choose from different organic fabrics and select between two patterns from the De Steek collection: a circle skirt or a wrap skirt. This beginner-friendly workshop provides hands-on experience working with both the sewing machine and the serger, giving you the skills to construct and finish a professional-looking garment. You will learn to cut fabric, follow a sewing pattern, create seams and finishings, and complete hems, facings, waistbands, and closures such as press buttons or zippers.

This class is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to those with some sewing experience who want to refresh their skills. Instruction is provided in both Dutch and English to ensure everyone can follow along comfortably. Sizes available range widely, allowing participants to create a skirt that fits perfectly. By the end of the session, you will leave with a finished skirt and the confidence to continue sewing your own garments at home.
