Sewing Lesson: T-shirt (Amsterdam West)

Join a three-hour sewing lesson in our Sewing Café and create your own T-shirt using organic materials of your choice from our store. You will work with our Picot or Stem T-shirt patterns from the De Steek collection, learning essential techniques for sewing with stretchy fabrics. This lesson provides a hands-on introduction to using a serger for creating seams and working on a sewing machine to finish hems and necklines. You will gain practical skills in cutting fabric, following a sewing pattern, and creating professional-looking finishes on your garment.

The class is suitable for complete beginners or those with some sewing experience who want to refresh their skills. Instruction is provided in both Dutch and English, making it accessible to all participants. Sizes available range from XS to XXL. By the end of the lesson, you will leave with a finished T-shirt and a strong foundation in sewing with stretch fabrics, ready to apply your new skills to future projects.
