Participants fire a total of 50 rounds under simulated test conditions—20 rounds at 3 yards, 20 rounds at 7 yards, and 10 rounds at 15 yards—allowing them to become familiar with timing, accuracy expectations, and range procedures.
Students are required to bring their own firearm and ammunition, or they may use a rental option with on-site purchase available. Eye and ear protection, along with basic note-taking materials, are recommended. This preparatory course is designed to reduce test anxiety and improve readiness, giving participants a strong foundation before completing the full LTC certification process.
