Intermediate Rifle

Intermediate Rifle is a three-hour, hands-on course designed for shooters who have completed Rifle Fundamentals and want to take their skills to the next level. This intermediate-level training focuses on building confidence and proficiency with a rifle or carbine, emphasizing practical skills that are essential for defensive or recreational shooting. Participants will review the fundamentals they have already learned and expand their abilities by learning to shoot from different positions, engage multiple targets while moving, and effectively use cover and concealment. The class also covers remedial action techniques, teaching shooters how to quickly address malfunctions and get their rifle back in action.

Under the guidance of experienced instructors, students will receive professional coaching and feedback throughout the session, ensuring safe and effective practice. The course includes targets, eye and ear protection, and expert instruction, while participants are expected to bring their own cased and unloaded firearm, ammunition, and a sturdy sling. Additionally, at least two magazines and any other personal safety equipment are recommended. This course is ideal for those who own a rifle or carbine and wish to enhance their skills in preparation for advanced-level training, offering a challenging yet supportive environment for growth and improvement on the range.
