This is a fantastic cookery school located in Greystones harbour. If you’re interested in cooking want to explore new cuisines and learn new techniques I would highly recommend booking. I’ve done two classes now and have already booked into a third. In the Mexican class with learned how to make tortillas from scratch and how to make perfectly fried fish for fish tacos alone with another number of recipes and techniques. In the pasta making class we made, rolled and shaped our own pasta and ravioli, all the basics were explained and a few days later I made my own fresh tagliatelle at home in 20mins instead of the usual dry pasta. Avril is a fantastic cook and teacher and has set her classroom experience up to be a laid back and intuitive 4/5 hrs of enjoyable cooking, you could easily be standing in your own home. No fuss no stress just a practical and enjoyable way to spend an afternoon learning about food. Did I mention you get to eat everything you cook… need I say more.

Awe, what a fabulous way to spend an Afternoon 😍😍 Avril was absolutely amazing and the whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. Avril was so lovely , so helpful and explained and demonstrated all the elements of cooking from start to finish perfectly. The afternoon was so relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. I had a fantastic afternoon learning to make and cook pasta with Avril. Avril is a fountain of knowledge and explains everything so well. The afternoon flew by and instead of paying for a meal that I do not know anything about I learned a new skill, ate some fine food and had great fun. I went by myself and thoroughly enjoyed the experience but would be a great idea for a date afternoon or a girls/boys day out aswell! Highly recommend 👌

Had so much fun the class flew by and learnt so much. Avril taught us so well, the meals I thought would be difficult will now be on the weekly menu. She really went into the finer details such veg chopping and what utensils we need which will be something I'll use forever!

What a way to spend an afternoon! Avril was a brilliant teacher and made everything so accessible for the home cook. She was generous with her time and her knowledge. We did her pasta making 1/2 day and we had such a brilliant time. It was enjoyable from the moment we arrived, the music, the location, the chats, having a little glass of wine while we worked our way through the recipes it was perfect Would recommend Avrils classes to anyone who is looking to learn a new skill in the kitchen. Brilliant for a celebration or date. We will be back again!
