My 9 yrs old daughter and I had an amazing experience with their great guide, Rob. We did a half day intro rock climbing and then a 1/2 day canyoneering. Rob made us both feel safe, welcomed, was very patient and had great local knowledge of the area. I prefer companies like Moab Cliffs & Canyons, they aren't the "Walmart" of guide services in Moab. We had a fantastic time and can't recommend them enough.
My son and I had our first multi-pitch climb with Rob on Ancient Art, and it was an unforgettable experience. I’ll admit, I was really nervous at first, but Rob took the time to explain everything before, during, and after the climb. He patiently educated us on topics like setting up anchors, the differences between aid climbing and gym climbing, and—most importantly—the value of redundant safety protection. We were lucky—it was August, and we were the only ones climbing that day, so we could take our time and really enjoy it. It’s easy to see why Ancient Art is such a favorite climb. Rob’s knowledge, calm guidance, and emphasis on safety made the entire adventure both educational and inspiring. Highly recommended!
