This course is designed for climbers who have experience with sport climbing and a solid understanding of belaying, climbing movement, anchoring, lowering, and rappelling. It serves as the next step for those ready to move beyond following friends and start climbing trad and multi-pitch routes independently. Participants will expand their skills while working on a variety of routes tailored to their experience level.
During the course, climbers will practice placing traditional gear, mock leading, and transitioning to leading pitches under the supervision of an instructor. Guidance is provided to ensure proper techniques, safety, and efficiency while building confidence in trad and multi-pitch climbing systems. This structured environment allows participants to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to climb more challenging routes with independence and competence.
