Refresher Course

For divers who have not been underwater in more than two years, completing a refresher course ensures confidence and comfort in the water. Our refresher program is designed to be thorough while respecting your valuable vacation time and can be completed in a single day or split into two sessions to fit your schedule. The course includes full gear rental, a pool review session, a guided boat dive, a dive guide, and a dive log. In the pool session, our instructors help you review and set up your gear properly, refresh your knowledge of diving rules, and revisit essential skills to strengthen your confidence. Additional techniques not covered in your original certification may also be introduced. Once you are comfortable with the required skills, your instructor assists with disassembling your equipment. The boat dive is a guided fun dive where repeating pool skills is optional, giving you an enjoyable opportunity to explore under supervision. After completing this course, you are considered a current diver and no longer need a professional guide for future dives. Many parents take this course alongside their children enrolled in the resort introductory program, making it a convenient option for families.

Our teaching philosophy focuses on developing safe, knowledgeable, and confident divers without favoring any particular agency. We provide training for all major certification organizations, including NAUI, PADI, and SSI, and accept referrals from any universal system. The course combines essential skills from all agencies to offer a comprehensive learning experience, ensuring students understand both the practical and academic aspects of diving. NAUI emphasizes detailed traditional materials and reasoning behind skills, SSI offers a fully digital and flexible learning system, and PADI provides structured chapters with accessible knowledge reviews suitable for younger divers. Regardless of the agency chosen, the core principles of safe and confident diving remain consistent, allowing every student to continue exploring the underwater world with competence and ease.
