Flexible scheduling allows guests to complete the pool session and boat dive in one day or divide the experience across two days to suit their holiday plans.

Stayed in the castle and dined in the 1180 restaurant. The food was faultless. The use of in season ingredients was perfectly executed. All components were placed on the plate with care and precision. The plates were not overly complicated but rather made the simple components sing. The service was very good. Im being hyper critical by saying that I had a dirty fork and had to remind the young waiter twice to replace it. Overall a great stay but the food in the restaurant was the real star. Not at all far off Michelin.
My husband and I wanted to stay in a castle on our trip to Ireland and Kilkea was exactly perfect. The rooms are stunning, the food service was excellent, and Andrew in the bar kept our drinks topped up all night. The grounds are beautiful for a walk, and the rooms are so cozy it’s hard to leave them. Please treat yourself to a stay here. It’s the most beautiful place I’ve been.
My husband and I stayed in the castle, and we were absolutely blown away by how beautiful everything was. From the moment we arrived, the charm and history of the property were incredible. The staff were so kind and welcoming. The grounds were stunning which is perfect for wandering, relaxing, and taking in the scenery. And the breakfast? Absolutely out of this world. Every detail of our stay was fantastic, and we can’t recommend Kilkea Castle enough. We can’t wait to come back!
