My sister and I went on an incredible tour to swim with whales and seals. Whilst we only got within about 100m of the whales (they really are elusive and cheeky) just knowing i was in the ocean with these incredible mammals was enough. Bonus points for getting to swim with some seals on the last part of the tour. Overall I would 100% recommend this tour company, very eco friendly and set expectations from the beginning to let us know that whales are wild and we may not get super close. Also bonus points for the vegan spread we had. So refreshing to go someone with only vegan options 😌
We had the most amazing experience today with Chelsea and Dillon we won't forget in a very long time. They provided great quality wetsuits, snorkels and knowledge to arrange an unforgettable encounter with humpback whales. We were treated to a 30 minute show with whales curiously checking us all out at very close range, which felt like watching the ballet in an alien world. We were also treated to swimming with seals in another location. They ran the operation very professionally and I'd highly recommend them if you want to try a magical experience you won't forget! The banana bread morning tea was awesome too! Thank you for a great life experience.
Did the Whale & Seal swim with Woebegone today (I’ve gone with multiple companies to do this) and this was the best experience I’ve had! Had a really good humpback encounter where it swam around us for a few minutes and then followed by 30+ seals!! They provided all the gear, plus a coat to stay warm on the boat, and great morning tea. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about doing it!
