Board your horse at Wildwood Stables in Acadia National Park, where comfort and safety are the top priority. The stables feature three barns with thirty-four spacious stalls, each equipped with convenient water access and dedicated bathing areas. Guests can explore over forty-five miles of scenic carriage roads that wind through lush forests and open landscapes. Choose from nine campsites with full RV hookups, including electricity, water, and power, providing a convenient overnight experience for riders and their horses. Board is self-care, allowing riders to manage daily horse care using wheelbarrows, manure forks, rakes, and brooms provided on-site. Hay and shavings are available for purchase, giving guests full control over feeding and bedding.

All necessary vaccine documentation, including negative Coggins, EHV-1, and Rabies proof, must be neatly organized and presented upon arrival for inspection by office staff. Horses should not be unloaded until staff verify all records, and digital copies must be submitted days in advance if used. With limited cell coverage and no Wi-Fi on-site, printed copies are strongly recommended. This boarding experience combines hands-on horse care with the freedom to ride and explore Acadia’s scenic carriage roads, creating an enjoyable and memorable equestrian stay.
