This two day sailing course is designed to teach you how to confidently skipper a twenty to twenty seven foot sloop rigged keelboat in light to moderate wind and sea conditions. Over eight hours each day you will gain hands on experience at the helm while learning essential sailing terminology parts of the boat and their functions helm commands and basic sail trim techniques. The course focuses on practical skills that build confidence and control on the water.

Participants will also learn points of sail buoyage seamanship and key safety principles including basic navigation rules to avoid collisions and hazards.
