Group - Youth Hiking - North Park

Experience the natural beauty of North Park on this youth hiking adventure designed for groups of 15 to 40 participants. Over the course of two hours, your group will explore winding trails, discover local wildlife, and enjoy the serene surroundings of Allegheny County's largest park, spanning over 3,094 acres. The hike covers approximately two to three miles and passes by two lakes, a winding creek, and a wetland that attracts migratory birds in spring and fall. This engaging outdoor activity encourages curiosity, teamwork, and an appreciation for nature in a safe and supportive environment.

Guided by experienced staff, participants will have opportunities to observe and learn about various creatures and plants along the trail. The hike is suitable for all ages, making it an ideal outing for youth groups, schools, camps, or community organizations. By default, youth group bookings are tax-exempt at checkout, though tax may apply if your group does not qualify for exemption. The route provides a gentle challenge while allowing plenty of time to stop and engage with the environment, take photos, and discuss the natural habitat.
