In the studio of the Slovenian Ethnographic Museum, you are welcomed into a creative environment led by academic sculptor and ceramic designer Eva Peterson Lenassi, together with her experienced collaborators. During the workshop, you are introduced to the fundamentals of wheel throwing and guided step by step through the process of shaping your own cup from locally sourced Slovenian clay. As you work, the material reacts sensitively under your hands, creating a strong connection between maker and medium and offering a truly tactile and meditative creative experience.

The workshop also highlights sustainability, as unused clay is carefully recycled and transformed into new pieces, ensuring minimal waste throughout the process. Once your cup is fired, it will be ready for collection in approximately one week, or it can be shipped to your home by prior arrangement. This enriching experience blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design and is available in multiple languages, including Slovenian, English, Croatian, Italian, German, French, and Spanish, making it accessible to a wide international audience.
