We spent a very pleasant and informative two hours. Although the town is small, it hides many treasures and has a rich history. Our tour guide, Vojka, with her perfect English, introduced us to the city’s past. We owe the city’s appearance to the Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik, its cultural influence to the Slovenian poet France Prešeren, and this wonderful two-hour experience to Vojka. By the way, she also offers discount coupons, and we even got free tastings during the walk. We are very grateful. Thank you very much!
Our guide Tibot was passionate about his city and his knowledge of the history was great. He had a great sense of humour and made our tour fun. Gave us good info on restaurants and other sites to see.

It was our first time in Ljubljana and our tour guide Doman made us fall in love with the city in just 2h! The history, the poetry, the architecture (and of course Plecnik!) makes no wonder why the capital is Slovenia is UNESCO world heritage. Doman was knowledgeable and with great humor, knowing all interesting and hidden (for first time visitors) gems! And blueberry liquor is a must to try and bring home! 👌
Lana was a great tour guide providing fun insights about Ljubljana, its history, its myths and legends and the people who made the city what it is today. She was very personable and answered all of our questions from why the dragons are on the bridge to why a poet has a prominent statue in the town square. Highly recommended.
This tour was incredible! I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Ljubljana. Our guide Helena was amazing! The tour lasted about 2 hours and 20 minutes and was jam packed with info about the city and Slovenia—history, government, art, architecture, culture, food, interesting/amusing factoids, and even tips on local spots to check out. We also got free samples of a local liquor from a shop along the way. Great way to spend the afternoon, and I’d recommend doing this tour at the start of your stay in Ljubljana so that you have tips on what to do/where to go during the rest of your time in the city.
We had a fabulous tour with Lucy as a tour guide. There was a mix of history, architecture, culture and suggestions - I honestly couldn’t fault it! We feel in a good position to navigate the rest of our holiday. We were also given free tokens for a couple of other places in the city! I really do recommend, particularly with Lucy as she was so knowledgeable and generally lovely!
