BEWARE. I have a ford transit mk7 which had no power. I booked into the ford transit centre at Airside Swords on the 22 of October 2025. The earilyest date I could get was 3rd November, I took the booking believing I would get it fixed quickly. I needed the van for work and phoned Bright ford every day from 3rd November to 7th nov to find out when I could get my van. The did nothing, no diagnosis, by Friday the 7th I was told they couldn't fix the van as their computer had trouble with vans older than 2011. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. """"The ford transit centre can't fix ford transits" I asked to speak to a manager who said they would bring it into the workshop (for the first time on Monday) morning for diagnostics. I went to the ford transit centre this morning Monday 10th November to find out what was going on. Van was still in the same spot for last 10 days. Spoke to their manager Dave who was clearly not happy I was complaining that nothing was done. He told me they had trouble with their mechanic who was dealing with my van and that they sacked him on Friday. I didn't believe a word of it. Dave then said I will get somebody to look at it now. After another hour waiting in the showroom I was told further diagnostics where required but they suspected a turbo. I said just do it please, get the turbo and put it in. I left the showroom and got a call from Dave saying they wouldn't be able to get the turbo for at least two and ahalf weeks and even at that he wasn't sure if it would fix the problem. Absolutely awful experience. I feel they just couldn't be bothered and wasted my time for 17days. 17days and still no van, I drove it home in limp mood, now I'm trying to find a decent garage that knows what they are doing. Seriously impressed with the service Shauna in the transit centre provided me with on my 2024 transit custom. As a business owner minimal downtime is important and Shauna took us in asap and organised a courtesy van for us to go off with and got the van fixed same day !! Actually notified me two hours after it was dropped in that it was sorted! I’ll definitely be back here you have earned a long term customer. Thanks a million Shauna.

I was intending on buying a new car, so I headed to Bright Ford Rialto after work on Friday just before 6pm. I was met at the door by Brendan Daly, who was ever so accommodating even though Bright Ford close at 6pm! Brendan was unrushed and went through prices and extra's packages with me. We settled on a Model and price that evening as I was trading in my old car. The next Morning on a Saturday! Brendan was so kind to arrange a test drive of the same model car I was buying, I had no complaints and I put down a deposit and my new car would be ready early next week, Brendan is the KING for first time buyers and used cars, if you are looking for small starter cars, used or new, Brendan won't steer you wrong, Thank you Brendan for sorting me out, loving my new Motor and I'll back to you in a few years for another Luke
