Disappointing Experience With Last-Minute Cancellation I never post, but this seems egregious. I made my reservation three weeks before my trip, so I was extremely disappointed to have it canceled within 72 hours of arrival due to the resort being overbooked. It seems this has happened to other guests as well. Communication with both the hotel and Agoda was unclear and inconsistent, leaving me unsure for hours whether my stay was partially or fully canceled. It ultimately turned out to be fully canceled. Adding to the confusion, both Agoda and the resort’s own website still showed full availability for my dates even the night before I was meant to arrive. As a result, I had to scramble at the last minute to find alternative accommodation—a stressful and unnecessary situation. I hope the resort improves its booking management and communication to avoid this happening to future guests.
We stayed for three nights at the Nirvana Beach Resort and were warmly welcomed upon arrival. We had a junior suite with a jacuzzi on the balcony, the room was of excellent quality, just like the service. The staff were always friendly, happy to chat, and eager to help, always with a smile. We can definitely recommend this resort, and honestly, the staff deserve more than five stars!
We loved it there from the first second. The staff is very welcoming and gentile, we felt like 1 class guests on the Titanic. The pool area is so nice, oerfect to relax and feel like you are jn paradise. I miss rainbow, the cute papagai who lives there, he is very talkative:)

Nestled on the cliffs of Koh Lanta, it offered breathtaking sunset views, lush gardens, and the kind of privacy that makes every couple feel like the world belongs only to them. The warm Thai welcome, complete with genuine smiles and a refreshing drink, set the perfect tone for an unforgettable stay. Our room was spotless and beautifully prepared, with a balcony overlooking the most stunning sunsets, fresh sea breezes, and a serene atmosphere. The soft pillows and premium-quality bed ensured the kind of restful sleep that makes you wake up refreshed and inspired. What made the experience truly special was dining by the sea—enjoying breakfast and dinner with a 180-degree ocean view, while the waves whispered in the background. Chef Paul’s artistry with local ingredients turned each meal into a masterpiece, and Khun Odd, the F&B Manager, added warmth with his expert wine knowledge and personal attention. I also want to sincerely thank Khun Pond, Operation Manager, the Front Office and Housekeeping teams, as well as the restaurant staff and chefs, who took care of every guest with genuine warmth, professional service, and the kind of closeness that felt like being part of a family. This is not just a resort—it is a romantic haven we will return to again and again.
This is a nice hotel but had to knock a star off because of the food.. We booked a pool villa. It was a great choice as it meant we were completely secluded...the room was lovely...we had bottles of water provided every day Common theme in Thailand is there isn't much privacy in the bathroom but this one was the worst..as there wasn't a door between the room and the toilet!it was strange. The pool was nice.. looks deeper than it is... its a shame you have to get to it by exiting the villa and walking round rather than it being connected Breakfast was fine...made to order along with some buffet options Rest of the food was just disappointing...overpriced and sometimes nearly inedible...the only thing I liked was the club sandwich...each to their own. We had to eat there as nothing was open nearby unfortunately...this was a deciding factor for us to move on as we hadn't booked the rest of our week...if the food had been better we would have definitely stayed The side of koh lanta this hotel is on is very quiet and seems shut down for the season but if you get a bike you should be fine.. there is no grab on the island but there are taxi bike things and normal taxi The hotel is 30 mins drive from the pier
