Weekend Workshop 1 - Introduction

Step into the mesmerizing world of glassblowing with our comprehensive introductory workshop, right here in destination. Over two immersive days, you will embark on a creative journey unlike any other. Feel the intense heat of the furnace and witness the magical transformation of molten glass into solid art. This weekend experience is designed to build your foundational knowledge, guiding you through the fundamental skills of this ancient craft. You will learn a lot, sweat a lot, and discover a passion you never knew you had. Your hands-on training spans 12 total hours, beginning Saturday afternoon and concluding Sunday. We believe in a personal and supportive learning environment, which is why our class size is intentionally limited to just four people. This small group setting ensures you receive extensive individual attention and ample time at the bench, working directly with the hot glass under expert guidance. Throughout the workshop, you will progress from basic concepts to practical application, culminating in the creation of five distinct pieces of glass art.
