Ordered a boned shoulder of lamb for Easter by email for collection on Friday 18th April Because of the excellent reviews I didn’t open it until this morning (Easter Sunday) to find that it wasn’t boned and it is virtually un eatable because of the amount of silver skin. I’ve never seen anything like it and our plans for Easter dinner destroyed. €40 for meat a dog couldn’t chew!!

It's a wonderful place. The staff are very friendly and cooperative. I ordered pork trotters 2 weeks ago and they still had them reserved for me. What a wonderful experience

Not sure where the other reviews garner there meat quality from but for me the Brown Pig is all fur coat and no knickers… Fancy bags and a gastro English style does not constitute quality .. The chicken I had was poor and the selection on offer in the shop was also sub standard. It’s all good calling g a pork chop a “t bone” but you need to back that up with flavour and quality of product. sadly you don’t

This is an amazing butcher! If you compare it to shoe shopping this is definitely in a range of hand made Italian shoe shop! They have an amazing range of meat and prepared dishes. Chicken nuggets are so fluffy and tender, amazing choice of chicken wings,ribs, meatballs, sausages, jams, relishes,eggs,and so much more. Not all but a lot of food is free-range. This is the ultimate place for getting your Sunday roasts or dine in meals. Very satisfied customer here 🙂
