Firearm Cleaning Workshop Teaches Essential Maintenance and Safe Handling Skills

The Firearm Cleaning Workshop is a one-hour, hands-on training course designed for beginner and intermediate firearm owners who want to build a strong foundation in safe firearm operation and proper maintenance. The program is suitable for both new gun owners and those looking to refresh their knowledge of routine firearm care, with a strong emphasis on safety, confidence, and responsible handling.

Led by USCCA Certified Instructors and experienced firearms professionals, the course covers essential topics such as firearm parts identification, safe loading and unloading procedures, and fundamental handling practices. Participants receive guided instruction on how regular maintenance contributes to reliability, safety, and long-term firearm performance.

The hands-on portion of the workshop focuses on proper cleaning, lubrication, and inspection techniques. Students work with standard cleaning supplies such as solvents, brushes, oils, wipes, and protective gloves while learning step-by-step maintenance procedures that can be applied at home.

Each participant receives a cleaning kit to take with them, supporting continued practice beyond the classroom. Firearms are provided for those who do not bring their own, ensuring a complete and practical learning experience. The workshop offers a structured and accessible introduction to firearm care, helping participants develop safe habits and long-term confidence in maintaining their equipment.
