This course is designed for climbers looking to expand their skills beyond single-pitch climbs. Participants will learn the fundamentals of multipitch climbing, including how to manage time and equipment efficiently on longer routes. The course also covers essential self-rescue skills, giving climbers the knowledge needed to assist themselves or a partner in case of an emergency. Basic aid climbing techniques are introduced, including the use of etriers, hauling systems, and ascending methods, providing a solid foundation for more advanced climbs.
In addition to technical skills, the course emphasizes improving overall climbing ability. Participants will work on refining their technique to tackle more challenging terrain and learn how to read complex and involved routes. By the end of the course, climbers will gain both the confidence and competence to approach longer, more technical climbs safely and efficiently, while developing a deeper understanding of route finding and climbing strategy.
