This winter camp offers a fun and educational experience where young learners can explore the world of animals in an engaging and supportive environment. Each day campers participate in hands on activities that introduce them to animal care, enrichment, and the fascinating strategies animals use to survive the winter season. Through guided interactions and winter craft projects, children build confidence, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for nature while enjoying a lively camp atmosphere filled with discovery.
Throughout the week campers expand their understanding of animal groups, diets, and habitats with lessons designed to make learning exciting and accessible. Friendly and knowledgeable staff guide every activity, ensuring safety while encouraging curiosity and questions. Whether meeting new animals, making winter themed crafts, or learning the basics of working with wildlife, campers leave with meaningful memories and valuable knowledge that inspire a love for animals and the natural world.

I couldn't recommend this wildlife park anymore. It was the highlight of our trip to Wexford. With a fabulous variety of animals to see such as goats, macaques, lemurs, meerkats, monkeys, rabbits, snakes, alpacas, llamas and pigs. They also have a fantastic on-site café that has an indoor bouncing castle for the kiddies and delicious food on offer, such as homemade soup, paninis, wraps, pancakes, chicken goujons and slow cooked roast beef. The food was so tasty and such a cosy vibe in the café, we'll definitely be back!
We are regular visitors to Secret Valley. The kids love it here. And the food in the cafe is delicious. They have a big bouncy obstacle course indoors too. We just attended the Halloween event and it was brilliant fun. Well spread out and the kids had a ball meeting the witches, picking out their pumpkins and loved the tractor ride back to the entrance. Highly recommend all year round. Well done team!!
We had a great visit here. We are a family of 4 and all had a great time. The animal area is not too big and their is also a woodland walk. The animals are well cared for and all the staff are very knowledgeable about the animals they care for. Every staff member was lovely and happy to answer any questions we had. We will certainly visit again!
11/10 experience! Will definitely be returning!! So many lovely animals to see and all well cared for and looked after. Staff were so lovely, grounds are kept really well. We didn’t get to eat in the cafe but will definitely the next time! Highly recommend
We go here every year for pumpkin picking and always have a great time. This year for my mams birthday I bought her the meerkat and porcupine experience because meerkats are her favourite animal and she loved it!! We both had a great time, the keeper was so lovely and really knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
