Animal Ambassador Encounter Offers Hands-On Wildlife Learning Experience
A unique Animal Ambassador program is giving visitors an interactive opportunity to connect with some of the world’s most fascinating creatures in a safe and educational setting. The experience focuses on close-up observation and learning, allowing guests to better understand animal behavior and the importance of global conservation efforts.
Guided by trained and knowledgeable staff, participants can observe and engage with a variety of animals while gaining insight into their natural habits and care requirements. Each encounter is designed to prioritize both guest safety and animal well-being, ensuring a respectful and controlled environment throughout the experience.
Select activities may include feeding and photography opportunities, while physical interaction is carefully supervised and only permitted when deemed appropriate by staff. As animal participation is voluntary, encounters may vary, and guests are informed that experiences are not guaranteed, with refunds issued if sessions cannot proceed as planned.
For safety, all participants are required to wear closed-toe shoes, and children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Combining education, conservation awareness, and rare wildlife interaction, this program offers a meaningful way to connect with animals while supporting important global protection initiatives.

I couldn't recommend this wildlife park anymore. It was the highlight of our trip to Wexford. With a fabulous variety of animals to see such as goats, macaques, lemurs, meerkats, monkeys, rabbits, snakes, alpacas, llamas and pigs. They also have a fantastic on-site café that has an indoor bouncing castle for the kiddies and delicious food on offer, such as homemade soup, paninis, wraps, pancakes, chicken goujons and slow cooked roast beef. The food was so tasty and such a cosy vibe in the café, we'll definitely be back!
We are regular visitors to Secret Valley. The kids love it here. And the food in the cafe is delicious. They have a big bouncy obstacle course indoors too. We just attended the Halloween event and it was brilliant fun. Well spread out and the kids had a ball meeting the witches, picking out their pumpkins and loved the tractor ride back to the entrance. Highly recommend all year round. Well done team!!
We had a great visit here. We are a family of 4 and all had a great time. The animal area is not too big and their is also a woodland walk. The animals are well cared for and all the staff are very knowledgeable about the animals they care for. Every staff member was lovely and happy to answer any questions we had. We will certainly visit again!
