Alberto

A modern, free, yet small art gallery offering an interesting experience. The overall space of the gallery is airy and spacious. When we first entered, we approached the only staff member, who didn’t seem very interested in being there. There was a single sheet of paper with explanations of the art pieces, but that was it. It would have been better to have the information either next to the actual art pieces or to have more copies of the paper available for patrons. The overall art exhibit was interesting, and we enjoyed our time at RGR. The gallery also has clean toilets, which is always a plus.

Great tiny gallery for contemporary art! You might have to ring the doorbell to get in.
Alex

Beautiful gallery with a Soto edition on. The receptionist was helpful too.
Casey

Very cool gallery with unassuming exterior and innovative interior curation. The staff was incredibly friendly and approachable. We accidentally walked in while they were setting up a new exhibit but we were instructed to come back later that evening for the opening night. When we returned the place was full, staff were handing out beverages and interacting with the crowd & art. The artists were there as well which was a unique opportunity to learn more about their work. We look forward to returning.

Galería RGR is always a must when I am in Mexico City. I recently had the good fortune to meet one of the owners while viewing some of Patrick Hamilton’s abstract work, and not only did he graciously take the time to explain the importance of the work to him personally, but he went as far as to offer to write me a curated list of other gallery spaces in the city to view similar stylistic offerings. It was above and beyond. I was so impressed with the simplicity of the space, and the obvious care the team puts in to the experience. I highly recommend stopping by to view an exhibition.
