Our family did the island tour and snorkeling with the number 1 tour guide King James and number 1 captain Steve. It was an amazing day and they were very organized and knowledgeable. More than that, they were a lot of fun and made sure everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend anyone book with Hopkins Family Adventure Tours!
We all had a fun day. “King James” was great to visit with and was a great snorkelling guide. The boat was clean and Captain Matthew was also full of information about Belize and the area. James’ wife made us an amazing lunch. Best chicken we had in the 2 weeks. The island was a great place to relax for lunch. The reef was in pretty good shape with lots of fish, nurse sharks, rays, dolphins and we even swam with the manatee’s. It was great to see a young family doing well in their new business venture. Keep up the great work. I highly recommend this tour company to families and groups with any snorkelling experience. He is very safety conscious and always watching the whole group.
We had a good Sittee River tour with King James and Arnold. We didn’t get to see the jaguars he saw just hours before our trip (dang!), but the personalities of these guys made our trip. It was the most relaxing meandering along the Sittee River, into what seemed like a secret passage, to a beautiful lagoon to watch the sunset. This was just perfect from the usual busy activities we had been doing- and the perfect way to end our time in Hopkins. I’m so glad we decided to do the tour and glad we had these two as our guides- they are amazing examples of the friendly and warm people we’ve met in Belize!
