The tourist route is crowded and fast. Too many folks fot the guide, and too many groups. There is some beautiful stuff, but overcrowded.

The tour was amazing - our guide provided to us was awesome. Our driver from Mr Shuttle was the worst, honking, running up on people, and scaring the crap out of all of us in the van. Highly recommend the salt mine, driver not so much.

Visiting from the UK. We tried buying our 9 tickets online originally, and it seemed to go through but then later received a notification that the payment was rejected. We called and they send it would probably work if we tried in person. We went to the ticket stall at the mine, using a different card from someone else in our group. The woman at the ticket stall was on the phone for ages now serving anyone. When we finally got to the front we paid for our tickets and it seemed to have gone through again. It then got declined again, same as when we tried buying them online with the other card. The woman asked if she could see the card. She then proceeds to pull out a massive pair of scissors and says she is going to cut the card in half. The owner of the card was very distressed, as this is his only card he has with him. He then asked to see the manager and demanded his card back, however there was no manager available. In the end we were unable to visit the mines and wasted time coming here, all due to shocking customer service.

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Everything from the transportation to the guide was brilliant. The sheer scale of, and work that has gone into the Salt Mines is incredible. What a fascinating place and superb memories I have. Thank you so much.

Fascinating tour. We were picked up from our hotel on time. When arriving at the salt mines we only waited a few minutes before entering. Amazing definitely worth a visit. Our guide was Simon who kept us fully informed with some humor. Things to know: there are 800 steps down so wear comfy shoes, I would take a drink as there are places to get food and drink underground but it could be over an hour before you find one of these stops.

An interesting place for visiting, totally one of a kind. You can choose guided tours in many languages. Everything is really well organized, there is a huge amount of parking spots around which is helpful cause it's located outside of Krakow.

Totally surprised by the salt mine tour, was really interesting. Only went because it was part of the Auschwitz tour that we booked but so delighted that we got to experience the salt mines.
