My experience at Sarangkot Mountain Lodge was truly outstanding and will remain one of the highlights of my trip. What impressed me the most was the incredibly warm hospitality of the staff. Every member of the team was polite, respectful, and genuinely caring. Their friendly behaviour and constant readiness to help made the stay extremely comfortable and welcoming. You can clearly feel that guests are treated with heart here, not just formality. The location of the lodge is simply breathtaking. Situated atop Sarangkot, it offers mesmerizing views of the mountains, valleys, and unforgettable sunrises. Watching the first light touch the Annapurna range while enjoying the calm silence of nature is a magical experience in itself. The surroundings are peaceful, refreshing, and perfect for anyone looking to disconnect and relax. The rooms are clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed to blend with the natural beauty around. Every corner of the lodge reflects care and attention to detail. Whether you are sitting outside soaking in the views or resting indoors, the atmosphere is serene and soothing. If you are visiting Pokhara, Sarangkot Mountain Lodge is an absolute must-stay. It offers not just accommodation, but a truly memorable mountain experience.

This lodge is in one of the best locations. The view from the room’s private terrace and the rooftop feels like heaven — you can see beautiful snow-covered mountains all around. The breakfast location in the morning is amazing, making the start of the day very peaceful and refreshing. Hospitality is excellent, and the staff are very polite, helpful, and welcoming. The sunrise and sunset views are really awesome. The lodge price is a little expensive, but it is totally worth it for the experience. I really appreciated that the hotel tries to use natural items for decoration as much as possible, which helps in keeping the environment clean and eco-friendly. The food quality is good, and the taste is also good, though it could be improved further with more authentic flavors. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel at least once in your life.

Its location is its calling card, but it has so much more to offer! Their claim about traditional Nepali hospitality is well justified; the quality of service and hospitality is indeed exceptional. The view of majestic snow-clad Annapurna and Machhapuchhe peaks is the promised treat that attracts tourists to Sarangkot, a small, sleepy hamlet overlooking the town of Pokhara. The hospitality is on display right from the time you step into the premises, all guests are welcomed with traditional music performed by the staff, followed by a welcome drink. The room, though not very spacious, is just about right, but the balcony offers a spectacular view. The washroom, like the room itself, is compact but very well laid out and has all the amenities one would expect. The twin beds have comfortable mattresses and pillows, and the room is effectively warmed even during the biting cold outside. The maintenance and upkeep are top-notch; they also have a laundry service in-house. As for food our dinner experience at their restaurant was average, however, the breakfast spread is impressive, and the familiar Indian/Nepali cuisines were very well done. The hospitality is on display at every step. One particular observation was particularly impressive: despite not having made any request, their staff cleaned our car in the parking area!

An absolutely fabulous experience! We went in the dry season at the end of November and had breathtaking views not just at sunrise, but at breakfast and throughout the day. I have never experienced such excellent hospitality. The singing welcome was such fun—and it felt especially nice after our somewhat nerve-racking taxi ride up the mountain! Every single staff member was very warm and accommodating. The food was excellent—we had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and wished we’d stayed an extra night. If we were to do it again or recommend it to other people, we wouldn’t do a taxi ride up. Instead, we’d take the cable car up and arrange for the hotel to pick us up for the short distance from the cable car at the top of the mountain to the lodge. Even if you’re spending time down in Pokhara, because of the fairly short but fun cable car ride this hotel is a great option to stay at. As a mountain retreat it is perfect! We especially enjoyed the complimentary wine in the room and lovely snacks and the welcome tea. My only feedback to the hotel is to consider having plusher pillows and some milk to have with the tea and coffee in the rooms. A once in a lifetime stay!

We had 2 wonderful days at the hotel Sarangkot Mountain Lodge. The atmosphere was just magical, the view spectacular and we felt really welcomed by all the staff. The day starts (with a bit of luck) with an overwhelming view of the sunrise above the Annapourna range followed by a varied breakfast buffet. The rooms were spacious and offered all the amenities one can imagine. All in all it was a very pleasant experience! Looking forward to come back here again.
