The cave itself is impressive, with its natural rock formations and spiritual atmosphere. What made the visit more special for me was receiving blessings from the pandit inside the cave. I was given tika on my forehead and prasadh, which added a meaningful and positive experience to the trip. Overall, it’s a must-visit spot in Pokhara for both its natural beauty and spiritual vibe. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great experience. Pure natural view with cave being adventurous. Also has parks and other facilities.

Our visit to Mahendra Cave in Pokhara was both exciting and memorable. Known for its natural limestone formations and unique underground structure, the cave offers a fascinating experience for anyone interested in nature and adventure. As we entered the cave, the cool temperature and dimly lit pathways immediately created a sense of curiosity and thrill. The natural rock formations inside are impressive, showcasing years of geological beauty shaped by nature. Walking through the narrow passages and exploring the deeper sections of the cave made the visit even more adventurous. The cave is fairly well-maintained, with proper lighting and pathways that help visitors navigate safely. However, the natural terrain still gives you the authentic feel of an underground cave, which adds to the charm of the experience. One of the highlights is the shrine of Lord Ganesha located inside the cave, which gives the place a spiritual touch amidst the raw beauty of nature. Overall, Mahendra Cave is a wonderful blend of adventure, nature, and a bit of spirituality. It’s a must-visit spot in Pokhara, especially for those who enjoy exploring natural wonders and want to experience something different from typical tourist attractions. Our visit was enjoyable, unique, and definitely worth the time.

Small cave, there's an idol of a Hindu deity inside the cave. It's well lit and you can walk around without a torch. The only minor challenge is during exit, as it's quite narrow.

It’s a small cave with a temple at the end; follow the signs for the secret exit. They created a small park around the cave and well maintained. Don’t hire a guide here! You need to buy an entry ticket!
