A mess. There's no English broadcast. No staraliiance gold line or fast line for anything. No matter you fly business or economy, you just have to line up with the whole plane. Sometimes there's a broadcast for people to pray who get the priority to go inside but because there's no English broadcast, so the security guard and people just gesture you wait without telling you why. If Cappadocia want to encourage sightseeing from all over the world. This is not ok.

Extremely disappointing airport experience This was my first time ever feeling compelled to leave a negative review for an airport. Nevşehir Airport is simply not designed to handle the number of passengers it serves. From the moment the terminal filled up, it became clear how inadequate the facilities are. When our Turkish Airlines flight was delayed by nearly two hours, the airport quickly became overcrowded. Seating is scarce, leaving many passengers sitting on the floor. Despite the long delay, no water or basic support was provided. The lack of organization only made things worse. Some travelers were stuck waiting for four to five hours with no clear communication. At one point, we were told to wait in a lounge that does not actually exist. Priority services are also missing — there is no Star Alliance Gold line, and even Business Class passengers are not offered priority boarding. The infrastructure is extremely limited: a single restroom, one small charging station with very limited number of sockets, one baggage carousel for arrivals, and a single area that simultaneously serves as customs, passport control, and a waiting zone. The airport struggles to function when even one flight is delayed. Overall, Nevşehir Airport is poorly equipped to manage delays or passenger volume. If you must fly through here, arrive as close to your departure time as possible. Cappadocia itself is incredible, but unfortunately, the airport experience does not reflect the quality of the destination.

small, functional airport, only served by 2 airlines which is Turkish Airlines and Ajet. The terminal is undergoing expansion at the moment so hope that they can accommodate more passengers. For now security screening is too cumbersome, one for the airport entrance and one for the boarding gate. Prices for the airport shuttle and taxi into town are clearly indicated.

A small regional airport with a nice charm of its own. I did notice a few international flights as well. There’s a small play area outside for kids, which is a lovely touch. We arrived in Cappadocia through this airport and also departed from here to Istanbul. There’s a small shop inside selling coffee, souvenirs and basic groceries, and there is also a prayer room. Since there are only a few flights, the process is very quick — within about 10 minutes of landing you’re already outside.

The smallest airport I’ve ever been to, with just two gates and one baggage claim. A new terminal is under construction, which should make it more modern in the future.
