Day 1: Stone Town Exploration Yussuf guided us through the winding streets of Stone Town with incredible knowledge and warmth. He brought the history and culture of the area to life, especially at landmarks like the Freddie Mercury Museum and the old fort. His storytelling was engaging for both adults and children, and he knew exactly how to balance education with fun. He was patient, kind, and made sure the kids were always included and entertained. Day 2: Nakupenda Sandbank & Prison Island This day was nothing short of paradise. Yussuf arranged everything seamlessly – the boat ride, snorkeling gear, fresh fruit, and a delicious seafood lunch on the sandbank. The snorkeling at Nakupenda was breathtaking, and Yussuf was right there helping the kids feel comfortable and safe in the water. Afterward, we visited Prison Island to see the giant tortoises, and once again, Yussuf shared fascinating facts and made the whole experience interactive and fun. Yussuf was awesome for our private tour of Zanzibar City. He met us right on time, showed us a nice walking tour of Old Town, Fort, markets and neighborhoods, Slave Church and a spice plantation. All entrance fees and transportation was included. The car was clean and air conditioned. Yussuf was full of interesting history and information about Zanzibar.
