Experience the best of Zanzibar on a full-day tour that highlights the island’s natural beauty and unique wildlife. The day begins with a visit to Mnemba Island Atoll, a stunning paradise off the coast of Zanzibar. Here you will have the chance to snorkel in crystal-clear waters and swim alongside a variety of colorful fish including zebrafish, spotted boxfish, clownfish, Dorry, powder blue surgeonfish, Emperor angelfish, Picasso triggerfish, Moorish idol, stingray, lionfish, porcupinefish, and turtles in shallow waters. The vibrant underwater world offers an unforgettable experience for marine enthusiasts. After exploring the waters, the captain will take you back to shore where your transfer will be ready to continue the day’s adventure.

The tour continues with a visit to a Spice Farm, where you will learn why Zanzibar is known as the Spice Island. Guests will discover the cultivation of fruits, plants, and aromatic spices while seeing, smelling, and tasting the diverse crops. Next, a car will take you to Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park, the largest remaining forest in Zanzibar. A guide will take you through ancient hardwood forests and mangrove swamps, home to the endangered Red Colobus monkeys found only in Zanzibar. At the end of the tour, stroll along a boardwalk through the mangrove swamp and visit the giant turtle sanctuary. As a highlight of the day, you will visit The Rock Restaurant, a famous Zanzibar landmark in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Here you can enjoy breathtaking views, take memorable holiday photos, and relax over a local food lunch with prior reservation. After a day full of snorkeling, wildlife encounters, and cultural experiences, your driver will return you safely to your hotel, leaving you with lasting memories of Zanzibar’s natural wonders.

The guide Shazili was absolute brillant! We were curious to learn something about spices so we booked a tour. And we never do tours because we don’t like that. But THIS was absolutely worth it. The time flew by and it was so good. We learned a lot, were allowed to try and taste things and got a gift afterwards. You can also see some monkeys as a nice side effect.

I would not call this a farm but rather a botanical garden of spices. We visited in december and most of the plants were out of season, which was unfortunate. On the positive side, our guide was good, we had a chance to see and smell the fresh leaves of many well known spice plants and we had fun. We got a hand-made present for goodbye. All-in-all, a pleasant experience.

The tour was a fantastic experience! Our guide Shazilie was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing detailed insights about medicinal plants, botanical species, trees, fruits, and of course, spices. Throughout the tour, he crafted small gifts from palm leaves, which added a personal and creative touch. We had the chance to see, smell, and taste a wide variety of spices – truly engaging for all senses. The tour lasted about an hour, but the guide was happy to stay longer and answer all our questions. You could really tell he enjoys what he does, and that made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Great experience with a very good guide. He explained us everything about all types of local plants and spices. He gave us nice gift made of leaves and even showed us how to climb coconut trees. The tour was very entertaining and we recommend it !

Asante sana Shazilie!! we spent such a lovely time with you during the visit at Jozani Spice Farm. your kindness, knowledge (and help removing riccio di mare’s spine with papaya’s milk) made our experience unique. thank you sooo much, we highly recommend it 🤗
