Shepherd's Hut

Two handbuilt traditional shepherds huts are set within a tranquil and private natural setting, offering a peaceful off grid escape. Each hut includes a comfortable sprung full size double bed with hypoallergenic pillows and a cosy brushed cotton duvet. Inside you will find a small wood burner, dresser and double ring gas cooking hob with plates cutlery pots and pans for a fully self contained stay. Outside log seating and a sturdy campfire with barbecue skillet create a true glamping experience. Low voltage solar lighting supports a low carbon holiday and the toilet and shower block is only a short walk away. Although the retreat feels wonderfully remote it is located just a short distance from the town of Forres with shops restaurants and local amenities.

The Cairngorm Mountains beaches and an award winning coastline are all within easy reach while the nearby River Findhorn is often described as one of the most beautiful rivers in Scotland. A rustic wood burning stove provides warmth and a basket of dry hardwood is included.
