The Boss Up surfboard, developed by professional surfer Kelly Slater in collaboration with shapers Dan Mann and Kevin Schulz, is being introduced as a versatile midlength design aimed at expanding performance options for surfers. As a larger evolution of the S Boss model, the board marks Slater’s first entry into the midlength category, blending stability, glide, and responsiveness in a single design.

Engineered as a utility-focused surfboard, the Boss Up features a refined outline and carefully distributed volume that enhances paddling speed and wave-catching ability. The design allows surfers to maintain smooth momentum on weaker waves while still delivering control and drive in more powerful surf conditions. Its balanced construction supports both relaxed cruising and performance-oriented surfing styles.
