Discover one of the world's most famous cavern dives at Cenote Dos Ojos, named for the two "eyes" or cavern entrances that open into a breathtaking subterranean world. This is your chance to explore a truly unique underwater landscape, conveniently located just south of Playa del Carmen and a short drive from Akumal and Tulum. Your adventure takes you into a vast cavern system, first explored in 1987 and now ranked among the top ten longest underwater cave systems on Earth. You'll embark on a guided two-tank dive, exploring two distinct caverns that each offer a unique journey. Though they start and end in the same place, their individual characteristics will leave you in awe. The crystal-clear water, with a comfortable year-round temperature of 77°F (25°C) and a maximum depth of 33 feet (10 meters), provides perfect conditions for discovering this ancient wonder. For nearly 7,000 years, these intricate caves and underground rivers have been forming. The Mayans considered this a sacred well, and as you glide through the water, you'll understand why. The light plays through the openings, illuminating a rich landscape of stunning rock formations, including elaborate stalactites and stalagmites. This incredible system connects to at least 28 other cenotes through over 80 kilometers of explored passages, with many more areas still waiting to be discovered by adventurous divers like you. This full-day, nine-hour excursion is designed for certified divers aged 10 and up who hold an Open Water certification or higher. To ensure a safe and personal experience, we limit our groups to a maximum of four divers per instructor. Your tour includes all scuba equipment, tanks, lamps, and underwater flashlights, so you can simply focus on the incredible sights. We also provide bottled water, breakfast, and lunch to keep you energized throughout the day. Getting to this unforgettable cenote dive is easy. Our service includes transportation from our facility to the cenote and a convenient drop-off at your hotel within the Cancun hotel zone. Pickups are scheduled based on your location, with service from Playa del Carmen accommodations at 7:00 AM, the Playa del Carmen ferry pier for those coming from Cozumel at 7:30 AM, and Riviera Maya accommodations at 8:00 AM.

This is the kind of must do! Swim in a cenote is an amazing experience and the guided tours worth it.
Gary

This is a beautiful Cenote. I visited during a scuba diving excursion and was impressed with the park, and the cenote. Some really beautify diving, especially bat cave, which was one of the most beautiful dives. Bat cave has light coming through a hole in the cenote roof, creating a light column, lighting up the room above and below water. The water has a beautiful turquoise color when hit with the light. Great place to just swim for non-divers.

We visited Cenote Dos Ojos on a recommendation from a Tulum native. We chose the Dos Ojos guided tour for 800 pesos and it was well worth the money. Our guide Luis was really nice and the bat cave was awesome. The cenotes were beautiful and we even saw an albino bat. A great way to spend a half day Tulum.

To get to this place you need to travel bit into jungle but it is all worth your trip. Cenotes are beautiful and if you are a diver or decide to take snorkeling trip you will see underwater world of cenotes and a bat cave.
