Lone Star Ladies is a 2.5-hour monthly training and social program designed for beginner and intermediate female shooters who want to learn, practice, and grow in a supportive and structured environment. Held on the second Monday of each month, the course combines classroom instruction with hands-on range time, focusing on building confidence, safety awareness, and practical shooting skills.
Each session covers core topics such as firearm safety rules, range etiquette, shooting fundamentals, and developing confidence with a handgun. In addition to foundational skills, participants also explore a rotating monthly topic, ensuring ongoing learning and continued skill development with every class.
The program also introduces important real-world concepts, including selecting the right firearm and caliber, identifying potential threats, creating home and personal defense strategies, and understanding Texas laws related to the use of force. Emphasis is placed on awareness, responsibility, and preparedness in everyday life.
Designed to foster both education and community, Lone Star Ladies encourages a collaborative environment where participants can learn from experienced instructors and each other.
