Experience the Tequila Route on horseback for an unforgettable day exploring the heart of Jalisco. The tour begins with hotel pickup in Guadalajara followed by a drive to the agave fields of Amatitán where guests can admire the vast blue agave landscapes recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will enjoy a professional tequila tasting on a terrace while learning the proper way to savor this iconic spirit. Guests then embark on a forty-five minute horseback ride through the agave fields and a small canyon guided by a professional rider. The journey continues to the Hacienda de Oro Distillery where you will learn about the tequila-making process from harvesting to bottling and enjoy tasting of tequila and artisanal liqueurs as well as cooked agave.

The tour concludes in the Magical Town of Tequila where there is free time to explore the streets take photographs and shop for souvenirs. Lunch is included at an underground restaurant with a set menu. The tour includes round-trip transportation a certified guide access to the distillery horseback ride with groom and guide tastings and medical assistance.
