This was booked for my nan & grandad’s 60th wedding anniversary trip to London and it was a perfect way to see some of the city’s best sights, whilst taking a cruise down to Greenwich !! ⚓️🇬🇧 One of the crew members did a fantastic job on the microphone, talking us through what we could see, telling us facts and sharing his knowledge about London- they even did a shoutout to my Nan & Grandad, congratulating them on their anniversary and bringing them a prosecco !! 🥂 We boarded at Westminster Pier, near Big Ben, and got off at Greenwich Pier, where we had a couple of hours. Depending on how long you want to stay, you can hop on any of the return times- I believe they were running about every 40 minutes ??🌊 There’s indoor & outdoor seating, and there’s also a bar where you can get a snack and a drink !! We sat outside at the back and we had a fab view, seeing sights such as the London Eye, Tower Bridge, Tower of London & the HMS Belfast✔️ Could not recommend this river cruise enough- it’s a lovely way to see the city, and great if you want to explore Greenwich too !! 🤍
I recently took the Thames River Sightseeing cruise from Westminster Pier to Greenwich Pier, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The journey offered stunning views of London’s most iconic landmarks—from the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye to Tower Bridge and the historic Tower of London. The commentary on board was both informative and entertaining, full of fun facts and stories that really brought the river to life. The staff were friendly, professional, and made the whole trip feel relaxed and enjoyable. The boat was comfortable with plenty of seating inside and out, so you could enjoy the scenery no matter the weather. Arriving in Greenwich was a perfect way to end the cruise, with beautiful historic sites like the Cutty Sark and the Royal Naval College just steps away from the pier. Overall, it was a scenic, smooth, and memorable way to explore London—highly recommended for visitors and locals alike!
Amazing Thames tour of London. From Westminster to Greenwich and back. Informative, funny and definitely well worth it! Also a really good way of getting around London with a hop on hop off ticket - sure beats the underground. Made even better by getting the last boat and seeing everything lit up. Highly recommend adding this any trip!
