Murder Mystery Cruise

Step aboard for a thrilling three-hour interactive murder mystery cruise along the River Thames with Sherlock Holmes, brought to life by the Windsor and Maidenhead Boat Company in partnership with the Sherlock Holmes Society. Guests are greeted by Mr Holmes and take part in a fun mixer quiz where some participants are invited to assume the roles of suspects, complete with props and costumes. Guests are welcome to come in costume if they wish, adding to the immersive experience. Approximately thirty minutes after departure, a fictional murder occurs, and the investigation begins as the main course is served. Throughout the meal, additional scenes unfold and crucial clues are shared, keeping guests engaged and encouraging participation in solving the mystery.

After the main course, guests are invited to search for physical evidence hidden around the boat, enhancing the interactive element of the cruise. Dessert is served alongside the final scenes, and the experience concludes with a freshly brewed cup of tea or coffee. The denouement reveals the murderer, who is one of the guests, followed by prize giving. The menu includes braised beef with fondant potato, red cabbage, and green beans for the main course, followed by a vegetarian lemon posset with shortbread and fresh berries for dessert.
