I loved visiting this place. It's a great place to go and have fun with friends or your partner. I went for a birthday party and loved it. The tour was good, with stops for the restroom. Along the way, they sell you almost everything: corn on the cob, potatoes, blankets, beer, pulque... Rental a mariachi band. It's a little pricey ($300 pesos/$15 per song), but it's worth the fun, haha. Go and have fun! Bring cash; few accept transfers or card payments. Cash only in the water.
SCAM- DO NOT BOOK HERE! Will make you believe that they have a “special” but once you get there there is a different price and you cannot just do an hour ride even though they advertise. They do not take you to the doll island it’s only a small mural with dolls. And nothing else. The guy doesn’t tell you anything just quiet. We had to keep asking. They charge you for everything. You sit on a boat only to get eaten up by mosquitos. Not worth it. Just go somewhere else.
Very disappointing “tour”. Came with a small group of friends and was super excited but there was nothing interesting about it. This was definitely a replica of the actual experience aka a scam. Was very upset to travel from the city to be told they do not go to the doll island and I do not get to chose my boat. Spoke with staff weeks in advanced and never mentioned they had no access to the island. Also once I got there I was given a different price. I tried to make the best of it since we had already traveled so far and I wanted to have a good time with my family. But Never again. Do not recommend this “business”
SCAM!!! During the whole conversation we had with the staff through WhatsApp they told they had a special of 1hr for 400 pesos once we got there, the place was super sketchy but they offered us drinks and snacks which we declined. BEFORE we left they asked for payment And now they mentioned how they have 2hrs, and 4 hours. We paid for the 2 hours from how they said it was so pretty and so much to do. Once we got moving you DON’T go to the island of the dolls which what is advertised. It it was boring so we asked for us to return and only make it an hour. The “driver” didn’t deny it and did not mention our money would not be reimbursed. We got back and they were still checking to see if they were going to charge us other drinks they added on the table which we didn’t touch. We argued that the boat ride was an hour therefore they should do the right thing and return us the extra hour we did not use. The staff denied and said that was our choice and they don’t do reimbursements. They became rude saying it was our fault. How was it our fault you advertised something you cannot keep. Traveled an hour and saw nothing. Not the auto sphere you see on videos. Highly do not recommend. Sad this all has become a scam to trick tourists.
