This classic two-day wilderness canoe camping trip offers a perfect blend of adventure and nature immersion. Participants will enjoy a three-hour paddle on the first day followed by a four and a half-hour paddle on the second day, making it ideal for those looking to experience a slightly more challenging route than the standard two-day trip from Eagle Rock. The journey features fun class I and II rapids, impressive mountain views, and stretches of calm river with good current, providing a true wilderness experience. Along the way, paddlers will have the chance to explore remote sections of the river and enjoy the peaceful surroundings while practicing their canoeing skills. This trip is designed for those who have some previous experience with the main two-day trip and are looking for a more engaging paddling adventure.
Safety is a priority, and all participants must know how to swim and be at least six years old. The trip requires a minimum of two persons for safety reasons, and rental includes everything needed for a comfortable and well-prepared journey, including boats, paddles, life jackets, safety orientation, river maps, dry bags, five-gallon water jugs, access to private camping land, and all required shuttles. The last day return shuttle is scheduled for three pm, allowing paddlers to conclude their adventure efficiently and safely.
