We found this tour on Google Maps. We were a walk in and happened to arrive at the beginning of the 3rd tour of the day. The hosts happily allowed us to join in. Our guide, Caesar, was the quintessential Costa Rican host. So full of warm hospitality and rich knowledge of the property and all the history of coffee and chocolate. We had such a wonderful time and absolutely fell in love with Caesar’s joyful personality. Unforgettable and worth your vacation time.
Nelson was our guide and was absolutely brilliant. He made it interactive and great fun. He was very informative and explained everything clearly. We all enjoyed the chocolate tasting & making at the end. Thoroughly recommended.
This was an amazing experience! Nelson was our guide and despite the fact that he does this tour multiple times per day, he always makes it full of fun and energy! They were very accommodating and friendly! The chocolate is delicious and making it was so fun!! My 9-yr old son loved it!
We did the Mocca Experience which was Cocoa and Coffee tour and Nelson was amazing! He gave us so much information in a fun way, included all of us doing the tour, made it fun for kids that were in the group we were in, and even pointed out a sloth for us to see. We actually stayed here for a few days in their bungalows and I would highly recommend that as well! We had a blast and our daughter loved the chocolate we made on the tour and brought home to her.
Great tour! Nelson was our tour guide and he was knowledgeable and entertaining during our tour. It was a neat hands on experience to learn about the cacao process. Loved to see the cacao trees with the cacao pods growing. Overall, think Eden’s is worth checking out because they show you the cacao trees, the process of opening the cacao pods and tasting the fruit. Further explained the process and then the best part was trying different toppings for making your own chocolate bonbons, tasting the “gods drink”, and history of cacao.
