Lake Atitlan Villages Tour on ATV

We’ve created a unique experience that blends fun and excitement with the natural beauty and rich culture of Lake Atitlán. The adventure begins in Panajachel, where we hop on ATVs and ride to the vibrant village of Santa Catarina Palopó. This lakeside community is known for its bright, hand-painted homes and strong cultural traditions. While here, you'll get the chance to explore local markets filled with handmade weavings, blankets, and nahuales—spiritual symbols used in Mayan culture. A highlight of the stop is a visit to a local coffee house in the village plaza, where you’ll have the opportunity to grind your own coffee and taste freshly brewed cups made from locally grown beans.

After soaking in the charm of Santa Catarina, we continue our ride to the nearby village of San Antonio Palopó. This town is famous for its traditional ceramics, and you'll visit a local factory to see the intricate process behind the beautiful handcrafted pottery. You'll watch artisans shape, paint, and fire their creations, gaining insight into the skills passed down through generations. Before heading back, we also stop at a local chocolate factory, where you’ll learn about the entire chocolate-making process—from cacao bean to final product—and sample the delicious results. This tour offers a perfect mix of action, culture, and flavor, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Atitlán.
