This advanced Jervis Bay trip offers experienced divers the chance to explore deeper, more challenging, and less commonly visited sites. The journey runs for around five hours and may include locations such as the Bluff, Spider Cave, the Cathedral, the Labyrinth, or a drift from the SS Wandra to the seal colony. These boats are designed specifically for confident, capable divers, and may require skills such as deep dives, live drops, and handling strong conditions. With no need to cater to beginners, the focus is on adventure, exploration, and accessing areas that are normally off-limits on standard charters.
Dive sites are chosen based on ocean conditions and group preference, with an emphasis on going somewhere different or experiencing familiar sites in new ways. Some trips can support limited deco requirements depending on individual dive plans and the boat being used. The atmosphere is relaxed but professional, giving divers the freedom to plan richer, more technical-style dives while still enjoying the beauty of Jervis Bay Marine Park. On select days, an optional night dive may follow on a separate boat for those wanting to extend the experience.

Beautiful boat ride around the harbor and protected island. Be prepared to bundle up with it being much cooler/windy at sea (vessel doesn't have an indoor area so you're exposed to the elements). There is an audio recording for significant sights while the captain stops for photo opportunities. Easy to access via public transportation from Howth DART station.

A lovely way to look at a familiar place through a different lens. The journey left the Harbour and headed over to the nose of Health and then up around the island of Ireland’s eye the commentary was informative when you could hear it, but of course the birds were fairly noisy. Great to fill in a few hours when you’re traveling by yourself.

We booked the Sunset Cruise for the Friday evening of a sunny summer day, and the views were breathtaking. The cruise takes you around Ireland’s Eye Island, allowing you to get closer views of the magnificent cliffs. During the evening, when all the birds have returned to their nests, you can witness a magnificent view of the island. Some birds are still hunting for food on the water, and the view of them flying while the sun sets behind the beautiful orange sky is simply mesmerising. I highly recommend this cruise for young couples or an unforgettable date night in Dublin. Families can also enjoy an evening out on this cruise. Occasionally, you may spot seals peeking out of the water and looking at you.

Took the Howth Cliff Cruise recently and honestly, the views are absolutely stunning if you can manage to squeeze out to the front of the boat—seeing Ireland’s Eye and all the seabirds up close is really special. That said, the boat itself could use some TLC, and the windows are basically impossible to see out of, so don’t expect much if you’re hoping to enjoy the scenery from inside. If your cruise is full, you’ll want to be first on board to grab a good spot, otherwise you might be stuck at the back or inside with no view. Overall, it’s worth it for the scenery, just go in with realistic expectations about the boat and try to get outside for the best experience.

Can't recommend enough. It obviously helped that the temperature was at an all time high and the setting was more like the south of france, but ireland when the weather is good is another level. We thoroughly enjoyed this, prices is relatively cheap all things considering, the staff on board were amazing, everything was perfect. We'll be back for the drop off cruise to Ireland eye next 🌞🌞🌞
