Jervis Bay Marine Park Dive & Snorkel Trip: Exploring an Underwater Wilderness

An immersive five-hour ocean experience offers divers and snorkelers the chance to explore the rich underwater landscapes of Jervis Bay Marine Park. Designed for all skill levels, the trip includes visits to two distinct dive sites, with approximately one hour spent at each location to allow for relaxed and independent exploration.

Departing from Huskisson Wharf, the vessel crosses the bay in around 30 minutes before arriving at carefully selected dive locations. With more than 65 sites available in the marine park, the area features a wide variety of underwater environments, including sea caves, swim-through formations, cleaning stations, and even a shark nursery and a northernmost permanent seal colony.

Conditions typically offer visibility of 10–15 metres, with dive depths ranging from shallow 5-metre areas to deeper zones of 30–40 metres. This variety allows both snorkelers and certified scuba divers to enjoy the experience according to their comfort and qualification level.

Participants are required to be confident swimmers capable of swimming 200 metres in open water, while scuba divers must hold at least an Open Water certification or be actively training under supervision. Light refreshments are provided between dives, and a minimum number of bookings is required for departure, with possible rescheduling if conditions or participation thresholds are not met.
