This trip offers an exciting way to explore the Jervis Bay Marine Park for anyone who loves getting wet. Over the course of approximately five hours, participants will visit two of the bay’s many dive sites, spending about an hour at each. The trip accommodates snorkelers, experienced divers, and everyone in between, allowing each person to explore at their own pace and skill level. The bay features over 65 dive sites with a wide variety of options, including sea caves, swim-throughs, cleaning stations, a shark nursery, and the northern-most permanent seal colony.
Departing from Huskisson Wharf, the boat journey across the bay takes about 30 minutes to reach the dive locations. Average visibility ranges from 10–15 meters, with depths from 5 meters down to 30–40 meters, offering plenty of choice for different experience levels. Participants must be confident swimmers and able to swim 200 meters in the open ocean. Scuba divers must be at least Open Water certified with PADI or an equivalent body, or undergoing training with an instructor. Light refreshments are provided between dives. Please note that a minimum number of booked divers is required for the boat to depart, and there may be a need to reschedule if the minimum isn’t met.

We had a lovely journey for one hour. It was so cosy with a stove and outside space with Prosecco and nice pints. Also great for the two year old who had a blast

We made the Bargetrip at 5.10. on a sunny day. The dock and the aqueduct was very nice to see. Chris McKenna (Skipper) tell us very interessant histories about the canal. It has not many tourists but it was a importent project for ireland. So go an see it!!!

Great trip with a group of 11. Loved the wood burning stove, full bar, scenery seeing herons flying close by. Highly recommend with a group and family, kids etc.

Fantastic 2+ hours canal boat cruise along the canal and over an aqueduct constructed near three centuries ago. Brilliant narration of the canal’s building and how it will continue to be here long after our “modern” bridges and roadways have failed. Highly recommended!

We took the barge trip from Sallins to the Leinster Aqueduct and thoroughly enjoyed it. The weather was on our side, which made it even more special—we were able to sit outside and take in the beautiful views. Our guide was excellent: knowledgeable, engaging, and full of interesting insights. Highly recommended! 👌
