The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is one of the most popular specialty scuba diving programs for good reason. By using enriched air nitrox—air with a higher percentage of oxygen and less nitrogen—you can extend your no-decompression limits, giving you more time underwater and allowing for safer, more enjoyable repetitive dives. The course combines e-learning with a short in-person theory session, making it convenient and efficient. You can choose to complete the theory-only program for $275, or add it to another course for $199, though this option cannot be paid for using Dive Credit.

One of the best parts of the course is simply the added freedom it gives underwater—staying down longer and returning to the water sooner than traditional air allows. Enriched air nitrox is especially useful for divers pursuing other specialties such as Wreck Diver, Deep Diver, or Digital Underwater Photographer, as it reduces residual nitrogen accumulation and maximizes exploration time at depth. Completing the Enriched Air Diver course also counts toward the prestigious Master Scuba Diver rating, the highest non-professional recognition in recreational diving.
