The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is one of the most popular specialty scuba diving programs for good reason. By using enriched air nitrox—air with a higher percentage of oxygen and less nitrogen—you can extend your no-decompression limits, giving you more time underwater and allowing for safer, more enjoyable repetitive dives. The course combines e-learning with a short in-person theory session, making it convenient and efficient. You can choose to complete the theory-only program for $275, or add it to another course for $199, though this option cannot be paid for using Dive Credit.
One of the best parts of the course is simply the added freedom it gives underwater—staying down longer and returning to the water sooner than traditional air allows. Enriched air nitrox is especially useful for divers pursuing other specialties such as Wreck Diver, Deep Diver, or Digital Underwater Photographer, as it reduces residual nitrogen accumulation and maximizes exploration time at depth. Completing the Enriched Air Diver course also counts toward the prestigious Master Scuba Diver rating, the highest non-professional recognition in recreational diving.

This is not a "get-you-through-as-fast-as-possible" type of school. There are no corners cut, and the art of diving is taught with great respect and attention to detail. Adrian, my instructor, was exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. He explained each skill and concept clearly, ensuring I understood both the theory and practical aspects of diving. His technical expertise and methodical approach made the learning process highly effective. At times, I felt the atmosphere could have been a bit more relaxed—some situations felt more stressful than necessary. A calmer tone in those moments would have helped ease the learning experience. That said, I still gained a lot from the course and appreciated Adrian's commitment to high standards.

Advanced Nitrox Course Review – Outstanding Training Experience! I recently completed the Advanced Nitrox Course, and it was an incredible learning experience! This course exceeded my expectations in every way, providing a perfect balance of theory, practical skills, and real-world application. Course Content The curriculum was well-structured, covering everything from advanced gas planning and deco procedures to dive physics and physiology. The materials were comprehensive, making complex topics easy to understand while ensuring I felt confident in my knowledge. Instructor Expertise The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Their ability to break down difficult concepts, answer all our questions, and provide real-life diving scenarios made a huge difference. Safety and precision were emphasized at all times, which gave me a strong foundation for technical diving. Practical Training The in-water sessions were the highlight of the course. We practiced gas switches, emergency procedures, and dive planning under realistic conditions. The hands-on approach helped reinforce theoretical knowledge and significantly improved my skills. Overall Experience This course is a must for any diver looking to expand their technical skills. It not only improved my confidence in handling enriched air blends but also prepared me for deeper, more complex dives. I highly recommend this course to anyone serious about technical diving! Would I take another course with this instructor? Absolutely!

I *highly* recommend going with this diving center. I'm a new diver (PADI rescue and 30+ dives logged), and my goal is tech/wreck diving. I contacted Adrian about diving in Ireland while I was visiting for a few days. Adrian is the most knowledgable and experienced instructor I've ever met, and he was very accomodating; he even picked me up from my hotel and drove me almost 3 hours there and back. The whole way we chatted about how to best further my diving education, improve my skills, equipment advice, and many dive stories and lessons. He helped me feel more prepared for my first wreck. During setup, I found out that my primary reg was leaking; he luckily had a spare reg for me to use and showed me how to install it. Some of his students or former students were also at the site and they were very helpful and friendly. I could tell they were taught well and effectively. I can't wait to come back to Ireland soon -- I look forward to taking courses with Adrian and becoming a better diver.

Just back from a diving week in Scapa Flow that was organised by Adrian & Wreck Diving Training Centre. The organisation of the trip was excellent, from ferries to B&B’s along the route, travel time etc, all planned meticulously. The boat we stayed on in Scapa Flow (MV Valhalla) was brilliant, very professionally run by Hazel, Helen & crew. I have been in many trips organised by Adrian and will be on many more in the future, hopefully. Highly recommend any trip organised by Adrian.

Scapa Flow Trip Most amazing week of diving the Scapa Flow Orkney Islands, Scotland organized by WreckDiving - IANTD Training Center. We stayed in MV Valhalla. The boat has all facilities. The rooms are spacious enough with bunk beds. It is very well laid out and has the great dive lift we have used. Lots of space to gear kit up and a nice saloon area to socialise during rest. Very delicious well cooked food and meals on board keep us very satisfied. The fills for nitrox are reasonably priced and all equipment can be rented if required. We came as a team with 12 experienced divers, no dive guides, but very useful and detailed pre dive briefings before each dive by members of the boat crew. Wreck dives were mind blowing awesome despite weather conditions. I would like to express a huge thanks to Adrian from WreckDiving - IANTD Training Center for his great efforts and well very detailed plan (Road trip, Hotel, Ferry) to organize such an amazing trip. Unbelievable new experience and great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
