1 Day Keelboat Sailing Camp

Our one-day Keelboat Camp is designed for 12–17 year olds who are eager to learn sailing, build new skills, and make friends, with no prior experience required. Participants will have the opportunity to sail small, purpose-built training keelboats that are simple and ideal for beginners. The camp focuses on helping young sailors gain confidence on the water while having fun and creating memorable adventures. All necessary equipment, including the keelboat, safety gear, and expert instructors, is provided, while participants need to bring a cap, long sleeve top or rashie, old trainers or water shoes, recess, lunch, and a water bottle.

The camp prioritizes getting kids out on the water whenever possible, with all activities adapted to weather conditions to ensure safety. If conditions are unsuitable for sailing, land-based activities such as theory sessions, drills, and sailing-related games are conducted instead. Complimentary early drop-off is available from 8:30 am with games and activities before the camp officially starts at 9:30 am. The day wraps up at 3:00 pm, with pickup available until 5:30 pm, giving participants a chance to help with de-rigging, play games, or watch a movie while winding down.
