2 Day Keelboat Sailing Camp

Our two-day Keelboat Camp is designed for 12–17 year olds who want to learn to sail or advance their keelboat skills while making new friends. Participants will sail small, purpose-built training keelboats that are simple and perfect for beginners. The camp aims to build confidence on the water, ensuring that each young sailor goes home with exciting stories of their adventures. All essential equipment, including the keelboat, safety gear, and experienced instructors, is provided, while participants need to bring a cap, long sleeve top or rashie, old trainers or water shoes, recess, lunch, and a water bottle.

Safety and weather conditions guide all activities, with a priority on getting participants out on the water whenever possible. If conditions are unsuitable for sailing, land-based activities such as theory sessions, drills, and sailing-related games are conducted instead. Complimentary early drop-off is available from 8:30 am with games and activities before the camp officially begins at 9:30 am. Each day concludes at 3:00 pm, with extended pickup until 5:30 pm, during which participants can help with de-rigging, play games, or watch a movie while winding down from a fun-filled day.
