Upgrade your skills and advance your boating qualifications with this intensive 1-day course designed for holders of the Spanish Boat Licence or RYA Powerboat Level 1. Combining focused practical training with online learning modules, this upgrade bridges the gap between entry-level experience and the internationally recognised RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate. With a maximum of only three students per boat, you’ll receive personalised coaching, hands-on manoeuvring practice, and real on-water scenarios designed to build confidence and safe handling skills.
The course provides the essential knowledge and techniques needed to operate powerboats up to 10 metres in length, including close-quarters manoeuvring, planing speed handling, anchoring, and man overboard recovery. This qualification is widely accepted by boating clubs, charter companies, and partners such as Freedom Boating Club. For British passport holders, it is recognised in Spain for driving motorboats up to 10 metres (LWL), making it a valuable credential whether you’re boating locally or abroad.
